Happy New Year!
Our Annual New Years Eve tradition is to stay home, have a candle light dinner and play games with the family. This year I planned out a ton of minute to win it games with prizes, way more than time allowed. Since then the kids are asking "when we can plan another family game night" which just warms my heart. The competitions were hilarious!!!! I'll work on posting pictures in the future OR I may save some of these competitions for upcoming Craft Time Weekends. :-)
Speaking of Craft Weekends -- Don't miss out on the CRAFT and the CITY weekend (Feb. 27, 28 and Mar. 1). A few spots remain and you don't want to miss out. I'm so excited for this event, that I want to tell you all the exciting things I have planned. But I will keep my lips sealed so attendees may be pampered as queens for the weekend.

Well I hope you had a fabulous holiday and that you are off and
running in 2015. My holiday was filled
with the never ending “to do” list. I
love “to do” lists and I always want to maximize every minute – I need to learn
to turn my mind off. So I was trying to
catch up on everything that I’ve put on hold all year long. Eleven days at home was awesome! And even better was that my husband took the whole time off with me. Don't worry I let him rest (sometimes) LOL. Of course, I didn’t finish everything on my
list and that is primarily because I kept adding more items as I found new
ideas that I wanted to try.
Here are a few photos of a items I had on my list. The biggest is that I gave my craftroom a color refresh. I am not posting any pictures yet, I contemplated a sneak peak, but decided to do a whole blog post which will be coming to your in-box soon.

This is a crinkle toy for my nephew and I put a chip bag in the middle. I utilized a variety of SCRAP ribbon around the train because babies enjoy having a place to grab it from and also feeling the different textures.
Here is another crinkle toy - It is "Owl SEW cute!"
Both items I traced on paper and then traced on the fabric to cut by hand. I probably could have cut them on my cricut but it is sometimes difficult to see where the cutting will occur.
Again, a variety of textured tags/ ribbon scraps.
This is the kitchen we made for my granddaughter last year. We brought it back to our home and setup with the table and chairs.
I also spent time cleaning out the toys, washing them and organizing. I should have taken a close-up picture of the tags. I made a tag for each bin with a picture of what items belong in there.
It was really cute and she was so proud when she could tell us what each bin had.
The bin she LOVES best is the "CRAFT" where I put her own scissors, adhesive, and punches. However, she did grab another basket and tried to start moving ALL the punches from my drawers to her area. It was so funny. I will have to find that picture to post.
And finally she asked if she could P-L-E-A-S-EEEEEEEEEE have the envelope punch in her area.
I made calendars with leftover coasters. They made really nice gifts and Thank Yous over the holidays.
This is the one I put on my desk at home. With two of them together they stand up great!
So next time your eating out, recycle your chip board coasters.
And here is a pic of the variety I made. In total I prepared 50.
They are packaged in clear envelopes, which just absolutely complete the look.
This is a frame that I created for my new granddaughter. It matches the colors and theme of her room decor. The frame is 3' x 1'
Using the Stampin'Up! Designer Series Paper and card stock I created on the cricut.
I love the color scheme.
Happy New Year Again! I look forward to a very CRAFTY 2015.
