She will be sharing her tips and techniques to walk us through the creation of our VERY OWN Altered Book.

All supplies will be provided to CREATE an altered book and some CARDS too!

This past week we honored a co-worker with a surprise bridal shower. It was so much FUN and she was totally surprised. She had previously mentioned wanting to decorate her home with rustic décor. Don't you love my wrapping? A friend of mine saves all her packaging (and so much more for me) and I always find great uses for them - this was one of them! I enjoy repurposing items.

When I first walked into the "Big Box Store" I was drawn to the gingham basket.
PS. I almost purchased myself one too but restrained. In case you didn't know I love baskets, BAGs, paper, fabric,... shall I keep going? As I kept walking I saw the placements, napkins and BIG coffee mugs. The light bulb went on, because I knew I had some black and white gingham paper that I could "whip up" some personalized note cards with her future married name monogram. I also made extras to wrap a couple of the napkins and some tags. The wreath was from a previous Paper Pumpkin (read more how you can get your monthly crafting kit below and/or give it as a gift) that I created, however it had been in my craft closet for a someday gift - the added green gave the gift a special touch.

The gift basket was a hit, everyone couldn't believe I made the cards --hahah! Note to SELF...I better start sharing more of the cards I create with the office. I have been behind and need to dedicate some time at my correspondence desk (that post coming soon). Everyone passed it around and asked if they could order some, or if I could teach them or if I had classes --- Ummmm YES! Let's get together, your place or mine? They all pulled out their planners and we set a date this month - YAY!

Join me and your crafty friends for CRAFT MADNESS!

It's a one day event (10am to 10pm). Come and go as you need. There will be prizes and fun exchanging of information. Bring your own projects: Scrapbooking, Card Making, Painting, Sewing, Beading, Cricut, etc. It's going to be so much fun and I'm so excited to take our crafting friendship to a monthly gathering.
