Planning and Details for CRAFTY FRIENDS Reunion

More updates...  ONE Week ---can I get a "How You doin?"

Here are a few from the Zoom call questions and others I updated below.  YAY!  

Any issues/concerns with conference room need to be brought to myself or whoever I have listed at my workstation.  Please do not approach hotel staff for conference room needs.

Please note that GLITTER is NOT allowedI know you wanted to be all sparkly but we'll let your smile do that for you :-)

1.  There will be a water and ice station in our conference room.  They will refresh every THREE hours.

2.  BRING a sweater, that room is BIG and today when I walked through it --it is chilly.  We do not have control of the thermostat.

3.  BRING a desk light, there will be power strips on the tables

4.  If you reserved a hotel room, you will have a fridge in your room.  I was going to verify that on the hotel website.

5.  There is a loading zone on the westside of the building.  there are a couple of steps AND there is a ramp if you park at the end.   We will have the ability to utilize the hotel "rolling carts" I know that's not the right word.  AND we are the first conference room on the left.     Photo by me...hehe











6.  Onsite cafe:  6am - 10am;  no lunch;  6pm-10pm 

    I did search for food around there and I came up with these

  • Marigold Cafe
  • IF you head East on Paseo OR even south on San Mateo there are tons of places.

7.  Seating assignments are at the bottom too.  yay!

  • Don't forget to add some words of strength and encouragement.

  • Do you have any crafty items or something you've made that you'd like to sell?  or giveaway?
  • Bring items and label them with prices.  
  • People will pay you directly

FRIDAY - Wear a past craft weekend shirt or a CRAFTY shirt you have
SATURDAY - Wear your FRIENDS t-shirt for photos
SATURDAY night - FUN pajamas
SUNDAY - anything goes

  • Pajama Party - wear some fun and relaxing PJs, and if you'd like something along the theme is even better!!!

  • Craft the Day away :-)
  • Doors close on Sunday, 11/7 at 5pm

Massage
OPTIONAL:  Schedule will be up soon so you may select your slot.


PILLOW GIFTS
This is OPTIONAL.  However, majority do participate, but no pressure at all.   
Plan for 28 or as many as you'd like.  

I will insert more info here for pillow gifts and I will talk more about them on the Zoom call.


HOLIDAY Gift Tag Swap
This is OPTIONAL.
We can't have a gathering without having a SWAP!   If you'd like to join plan on making TEN holiday tags and you will get TEN different holiday tags in RETURN.  It's always so fun and we get such great ideas.  Make sure to include the ribbon on your tag.
